Dans les commentaires on peut lire : "I contacted Dr. Ming-Luen Jeng, who is a world authority on the Lampyridae (fireflies), about this beetle. He identified it as a Eugeusis species, highly likely to be Eugeusis palpator Westwood, 1853."
Dr. Ming-Luen Jeng confirme :
"Yes. It is Eugeusis palpator. Their specimens are very rare in museum collection worldwide. But I believe they are not that rare if you use a correct sampling method."
The concept of Ototretinae within Lampyridae is clarified and the taxonomic placement with the phylogenetic relationships of several taxa formerly associated as cantharoids is discussed.
On the basis of a thorough examination of morphological characters and in congruence with DNA data analyses, the subfamily Ototretinae is transferred from Elateriformia incertae sedis (Lawrence et al., 2010) to Lampyridae
Cette publication est plus récente que Bouchard.
Par ailleurs une recherche sur le net montre que les Ototretinae sont systématiquement placés dans les Lampyridae, donc je pense qu'on peut y aller pour Lampyridae Ototretinae
